Prologue and Two Scenes for Double Bass was composed for Todd Seeber as a bravura showcase for his unique talents. The piece demands great technical prowess, utilizing the entire range of the instrument while requiring a constant foucs on the lyrical and expressive skills of the player. The movements are titled Prologue, Aria, and Scherzo.
